The car rental "Car Rental GmbH" is overwhelmed with reservation requests, as a result of which the company increasingly loses track of vehicles already reserved or still available. Therefore the management wishes to see a uniform approach in the processing of these inquiries. It wants to include the process flow directly in the process modeling in order to make it accessible for all employees in the Collaboration Hub. Thus, the process can also be used for future reservation requests.
Your task is to convert the following steps into a complete process model:
If a customer wants to reserve a car, the reservation department must first check whether the customer already exists in the system. If the customer is still unknown, the system first checks whether he or she has a driving license. If the customer does not have a driving license, the reservation is rejected. Otherwise, the customer's data is recorded and created in the system. The customer's reservation request is then forwarded to the carpool. An employee checks whether the vehicle requested by the customer is available. If it is not available, the request is rejected. Otherwise, the reservation department simultaneously prepares the rental agreement and blocks the corresponding vehicle in the system. The reservation process is now complete.
